Police were called this morning (Tuesday)

Two Co-Op members of staff were assaulted during a robbery in Dartford this morning (Tuesday) where cash was also stolen.

Police were called at 7.09am today to the shop in Colney Road, Dartford.

A spokesperson from Kent Police said: “One of the members of staff is thought to have suffered minor injuries, the other was uninjured.

“No weapons are thought to have been used.”

Following the report, enquiries are still ongoing.

Witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident are asked to contact Detective Sergeant Ian Sanderson at Kent Police by calling 01474 366149 and quoting reference 02-0122.
