Two women rescued after car hits railings on Swanley roundabout

The crash happened on Wednesday lunch time

Two woman were trapped in a car after it crashed on Swanley roundabout this afternoon.

Firefighters, paramedics and police officers were all called to the scene at the junction of High Street and Goldsel Road at around 12.15pm.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “We were called after a car collided with railings and overturned.”

Kent Fire and Rescue Service crews freed both women from the car.

Both were then passed into the care of ambulance crews.

Kent Police has said one woman was taken to hospital “as a precaution”.
