UPDATE: Gravesend post office cashier threatened with hammer in armed robbery

A female cashier was injured in a Gravesend post office armed robbery where she was threatened with a hammer.
It happened in the Valley Drive Post Office just before 2.20 this afternoon.
A group of men entered the shop and threatened the staff with what is believed to be a hammer. The staff member sustained an injury and has been taken to hospital although her injuries are not thought to be serious.
The men left empty-handed and Kent Police officers are currently at the scene.
