Traffic has been building anti-clockwise after an accident in Essex

Motorists travelling anti-clockwise on the M25 have faced delays for most of today (Thursday) following an accident on Essex side of the Dartford Crossing.

Delays are also being reported in the surround areas.

The A206 Crossway Boulevard and A206 Bob Dunn Way approaches to M25 J1a are both seeing heavy traffic.

There are delays on the A225 & A296 Princes Road approached to M25 J1b and on the A2 on both approaches to M25 J2.

Normal traffic conditions are expected to return between 6.45pm and 7pm.
