UPDATE: Motorcyclist in hospital after crash on the A2 this morning

All lanes have since reopened

All lanes have reopened on the Londonbound A2 and M2 after a motorcycle and van collided on Wednesday morning.

Paramedics were called to the scene just past the junction with the A227 near Gravesend.

A male motorcyclist, has been taken to Darent Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene due to a fuel spillage.

Queues were seen heading back to junction four of the M2 after all four lanes were closed.

All lanes were reopened by 11.30am.
