Update: Two taken to hospital after car overturned in Gravesend

Two people have been taken to hospital after a car overturned this morning.

The incident occurred near Parrock Avenue and Parrock Road at around 9.40am this morning.

Two ambulances and three cars attended the scene.

An air ambulance also attended to assist the ambulance crews.

The driver managed to pull themselves out of the car and was described as “walking wounded.”

The passenger was trapped in the car for a period of time.

Both received treatment at the scene before the driver was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital and the passenger, whose injuries were more serious, was taken to Kings College Hospital.
