Visit Kent shortlisted for tourism award

Visit Kent has been shortlisted for a top trade trade award in recognition of its success attracting overseas visitors to the county.

The county’s tourism champions, based in Canterbury, is competing for the title of UKinbound Destination of the Year, to be announced on Thursday.

Sandra Matthews-Marsh, chief executive at Visit Kent, said: “This is tremendous recognition of the achievements of my team and the many tourism businesses, organisations and local authority partners who have worked so hard with us to support our inbound travel trade activity.”

Visit Kent first won the UKinbound Destination Marketing Organisation of the Year Award in 2010.
