Yellow warning of rain means delays are possible

Drivers are being advised to take extra care this afternoon following the issue of a severe weather warning for London and south-east England.

The Met Office’s yellow warning of rain has been issued from 12pm until 8pm today (Friday, April 15), meaning delays could be experienced.

It covers the following areas: Bracknell Forest, Buckinghamshire, Greater London, Hampshire, Kent, Medway, Oxfordshire, Reading, Slough, Surrey, West Berkshire, Windsor and Maidenhead, Wokingham, Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, West Sussex, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton.
