Cabinet member says Gravesend is “Kent’s hidden gem”

Gravesham has been given a new tourism website in a bid by the council to attract more visitors to the borough.

Visit Gravesend has replaced the Go Gravesham website created in 2012, which Gravesham Borough Council says will give the area a fresh new look.

Cabinet Member for Tourism and Youth, Cllr Jordan Meade, said: “Gravesend is Kent’s hidden gem, we have so much to offer to visitors and this website will go a long way in promoting the best of our borough.”

The site offers browsers information on what to do in the area, with the Chantry Heritage Centre, Cyclopark and Town Pier listed among Gravesham’s top attractions. Places to eat, hotels and calendar events are also showcased on Visit Gravesend.
