A woman was rescued after falling 26ft off a wall onto a mud bank in Gravesend on Saturday (July 6).
A rescue operation involving Gravesend RNLI, firefighters and paramedics was launched to rescue the woman who was alone and believed to have been in her 40s.
While a crew from Thameside fire station helped to stabilise and put her on a long board, the life boat based at Gravesend managed to get close enough to pick her up at Clifton Marine Parade.
The woman was transferred to a nearby jetty, where she received further treatment.
It is believed she was then taken to King’s College Hospital in London with multiple injuries.
