Woman rescused from vehicle after Wrotham Road smash

Emergency services were called to Meopham last night, after a crash

The accident, which took place on Wrotham Road, involved one vehicle.

Fire crews rescued one woman.

Two fire engines, Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to the scene, at 9.50pm.

Crews stabilised the vehicle and made the scene safe while paramedics assessed the woman, who was not trapped, but unable to free herself.

As a precaution, firefighters assisted paramedics in placing the casualty on a spinal longboard for transport to hospital.

They left the scene at 10.20pm.
