Incident happened in Sainsbury’s in Northfleet

A YOUNG man will appear in court today charged with a robbery in a Northfleet supermarket.

William Chambers, 28, of Gunn Road, Swanscombe, was charged yesterday with assault, racially aggravated assault, threatening a person with a bladed article and theft after an incident in Sainbury’s, in Pepper Hill, on Saturday, April 25.

He will appear in custody at Medway Magistrates’ Court.
